# Create a Project

## Creating a Project

Projects house all testing and data validation work in Validar. To create a new project:

1. Navigate to Settings > Projects.
2. Click New Project.
3. Enter the Project name and description.
4. Click Save.

Once a project is created, you are automatically made the project admin. Next, you'll want to add Validatar users and data sources to the project. You can do so by clicking **Projects** in the menu bar at the top of the screen, expanding the appropriate project, and modifying Project Settings.
