Validatar AI Beta
Validatar AI provides a global chat interface that allows you to take advantage of several tools built into Validatar to assist you in managing your catalog and testing your data. The chat window is built into each page within Validatar and takes your current context into account when processing your prompts. You can maintain multiple separate chat conversations that each utilize prior message history when processing your prompt within a conversation.
In addition to the global chat window, Validatar also provides targeted chat shortcut buttons in the following areas that allow you to quickly being a new targeted chat conversation:
Auto-document custom metadata for a data source, schema, table, or column
Recommend quick tests for tables or columns
Validatar AI can utilize the following tools built into Validatar:
Retrieve summary information about projects, tests, jobs, and metadata (data sources, schemas, tables, and columns).
Retrieve a list of data sources from the catalog or a list of child objects from a data source, schema, table, column, project, or folder.
Retrieve and update custom metadata on data sources, schemas, tables, columns, projects, tests, jobs, or labels. Note that changes
Retrieve information from published Validatar documentation
Retrieve available quick tests for a table or column in the catalog and add the table/column to a template test.
Execute standard tests
