Article summary

Overview

To utilize a data source within a project, it must be assigned to and enabled for that specific project. This ensures that only relevant and approved data sources are accessible for the project's tasks, maintaining project-specific data governance and integrity.

Enabling a Data Source for a Project

There are two ways to map a data source to a project: via Data Source settings or via Project settings.

Using Data Source Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Choose the data source you want to manage. Within Data Source settings choose Projects.

  2. Check the Projects you want to enable that Data Source to be used in.

  3. Select Save.

You'll only see a list of Projects you are a Project Admin for.

Using Project Settings

  1. Go to Projects > Project Settings > Project Data Sources.

  2. Check the Data Sources you want to enable for that project.

  3. Select Save.
