Validatar 2024.1 was released on March 4, 2024.

What's New

  • Added the ability to import and export Reports
    • Revamped the Reports menu for easier navigation by report type.
    • Introduced permissions management for Reports.

Improvements

  • Enhanced Validatar performance for datasets with over 50 columns in a test.
  • Improved user experience on the Project import screen.
  • Enhanced cloud instance task processor to ensure uninterrupted parent tasks.
  • Enabled editing options for locked tag and dropdown custom fields.
  • Expanded global Project settings to include detailed configurations.
  • Implemented detection for technical metadata with duplicate names to resolve ingestion issues from Snowflake.
  • Marketplace Improvements:
    • Added a Search bar for quick item discovery.
    • Enabled direct import of Marketplace items into relevant areas in Validatar.

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed lagging issue on the test repository screen during test renaming.
  • Resolved Snowflake processing engine failure during test comparison with null or wildcard characters.
  • Fixed loading issue on the API documentation site.
  • Corrected display of child tests for template tests within Metadata Selection.
  • Rectified in-app notification error for existing discussions instead of new comments.
