Older notes are in the navigation by year. Patch builds released after a version ships are listed at the end of that version's release notes.

Security advisories

The Security Advisories folder holds Validatar's statements on publicly disclosed vulnerabilities. Each advisory says whether Validatar is affected, which products were reviewed, and what you need to do, if anything.

Latest advisory: PHP2Shell (CVE-2026-109618, CVE-2026-109619): Validatar Not Affected, published October 23, 2026.

Security fixes that ship inside a release appear in that release's notes, under Bug Fixes.

Reading a version number

Format Example Meaning
YYYY.N 2026.1 A release in the yearly release line
YYYY.N.N 2026.1.1 A follow-up release to that version
YYYY.N.N.build 2026.1.1.6094 A patch build of that release

The year names the release line rather than the ship date, which is why 2025.3 belongs to 2025 even though it shipped in February 2026.

Getting a new release

Validatar Cloud. Validatar rolls each release out to Cloud environments on the Cloud date in its release notes. There is nothing to install.

Validatar Server and Data Agent. Download the installers from Server and Agent Downloads. For Validatar Server, follow Upgrading to a New Release Version. Read the Upgrade Notes section of the release notes before you start: some releases run database migrations that take hours on large result histories.
